Mancera, PhD). April, 2003 – July, 2006. Senior Research Associate Zydus Research Centre, Ahmedabad, India Responsible to setup Bioinformatics and Molecular Modelling Infrastructure. Worked on computer-assisted drug discovery for anti-obesity, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic and antibacterial research. Provided guidance for in-house software development, including databases, inventory, and networking support. April 2003 – July 2006 Visiting Faculty Sikkim Manipal University, Ahmedabad Computer-aided Drug Design, Bioinformatics and Plant Molecular Biology Modules for the M.Sc. Program in Bioinformatics May 2002-March 2003 Research Assistant Center for Plant Molecular Biology, Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. Worked on genome annotation of Indica rice genome and the development of a biological database of plant antimicrobial peptides. November-May 2002 Project Trainee (Bioinformatics) IBSS Inc., Hyderabad, India. Development of protein-protein interactions database. |
