Bioactive compounds from natural sources

Various projects are currently undertaken to isolate and identify bioactive compounds from a variety of natural sources, in particular though from traditional Australian and Asian medicinal plants. They range from the phytochemical investigation of Conkerberry (Carissa lanceolata) and Snake Vine (Tinospora smilacina) to Kiwi fruits (Actinidia ssp.), Turmeric (Curcuma longa) and various Eucalyptus kinos.
